South Yorkshire Police investigating allegations of sexual abuse in football

In the last three weeks, more than 20 former footballers across the country — including ex-youth players, trainees and professionals — have claimed they were abused.

More than 20 UK police forces have now confirmed they are investigating claims of historical child abuse in football.

The Football Association has announced an internal review.
