Sky’s the limit for Bluebell Wood children

FIVE Bluebell Wood children were given a bird’s eye view over the area thanks to a helicopter pilot.

Jack Kirsop, Kasabian Newton-Smith, Ebony Smith, Tyler Grayson and Lilly-Mai Davies took to the skies over the North Anston children’s hospice last Friday (10).

Jack’s mum Vicky said: “I really can’t thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience for myself and Jack.

“I was so nervous as it's the first time Jack has ever flown before, but the team reassured me and I feel so proud of my little boy.”

Pilot Simon Nicholls, founder of Retford-based Kuki Helicopters, said: “It’s so nice to see how excited the children and families were when we arrived.

“The flights today were among the most special I have ever flown and I feel privileged to be able to meet such inspiring families.

“Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces as we flew over the hospice was truly incredible.”

Liz Webster, Bluebell Wood’s director of care, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Simon and the Kuki team. I can’t thank the team enough for helping us to create unforgettable memories.”
