Sharni's Jessica Ennis painting's a winner
AN ART student’s portrait of Jessica Ennis has won approval — from the Olympic gold medalist herself.
Sharni O’Sullivan, in Year 13 at Maltby Academy, chose do base her A2 art exam piece on Olympians.
The youngster met the heptathlon champion at a training session and showed her the work in progress.
Academy house manager Louise Bloor said: “Jessica was really pleased with Sharni’s work and can't wait to see the final portrait.”
