Runners turn out for Rotherham Hospice

MORE than 100 runners took part in a fundraiser for Rotherham Hospice.

The two-mile Run4Fun event took place at Clifton Park.

Louise Johnson, event fund-raiser said: "On behalf of The Rotherham Hospice I would like to say a big thank you to the 108 runners who took part in the Run4Fun event.

“The running costs of the hospice are getting higher as the new extension is well underway and we need to raise more money than ever before.

“The hospice needs £2.5 million to cover the annual operating costs and thanks to the generosity of people’s friends, family and colleagues we hope to raise more than £2,000 in sponsorship.
