Rubbish and a car set on fire in the Dearne Valley


A PILE of rubbish and a car had been set on fire in the Dearne Valley.
Firefighters from Edlington station were called to a rubbish fire on Lilac Crescent in Edlington at 7.15pm last night.
They left the scene after 15 minutes.
Tankersley firefighters went out to a car set alight on Dovecliffe Road in Wombwell at 11pm and were at the scene for an hour.
A spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said both fires were believed to have been started deliberately.
