Mrs Massarella was made an MBE in 2009 for her voluntary work as founder trustee of SAFE@LAST, the runaways children's charity which she set up in 2000, working with those aged 16 and under who are at risk through running away.

She has also served for 11 years as a governor of St Joseph’s RC Primary School in Dinnington and is a trustee of Mount St Mary's Trust and Mount St Mary's Holiday Week Trust.

Mr Dyson retired recently as Deputy Chief Constable of South Yorkshire, having been a member of the force since 1976, and Temporary Chief Constable from October 2011 until April 2012.

He is the Independent Chairman of the Barnsley Safeguarding Children Board and sits as an independent member of assessment panels for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
