Round Table quartet braves the waves

FOUR intrepid Rotherham Round Tablers took the plunge into the chilly waters of Morecambe Bay to help raise thousands for charity.

Richard Badger, Mark Allen, Richard Ogley and Matthew Ridsdale joined 32 other Round Table members from around the country in the water as part of a national sporting contest.

The four Rotherham representatives were joined by Dr Porus Bustani, chairman of Hallamshire Round Table, in taking on a series of physical challenges, including table tennis, darts, pool, tug of war, and the onerous task of trying to navigate a special Lancaster Bomber through a mini assault course.
