Rotherham to bask in scorching heat
TEMPERATURES could soar as high as 29°C today in what could be the final taste of summer this year.
The Met Office said long periods of sunshine were expected throughout the day (Tuesday) with long, clear spells.
But heavy thundery showers could hit the Rotherham borough this evening before temperatures drop towards the end of the week.
