Rotherham real ale festival appeals for helpers
VOLUNTEERS are needed to help staff Rotherham’s popular Real Ale and Music Festival.
Organisers are looking for more than 200 helpers to staff the bars, help performers, sell tickets and help set up and dismantle the festival which takes place at Magna between February 27 and March 2.
This year’s festival features 250 real ales chosen from the west of England and the best beers on offer in Yorkshire.
There will also be 50 hours of live music.
Proceeds from this year’s event, dubbed Baa'sil Goes West, will go to Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
