Rotherham Magistrates' Court to close doors for final time
ROTHERHAM Magistrates’ Court will sit for the final time this afternoon (Friday) as part of a government plan to save money.
The Ministry of Justice announced the closure of Rotherham’s magistrates, county and family courts in February and cases will move to Sheffield.
The final case will be heard at around 2pm this afternoon before the doors are shut for the final time.
