Road to remain closed after burst water main

Motorists have been told to expect delays while emergency repairs are carried out on the A633 Rotherham Road.

A Rotherham Borough Council spokeswoman said the closure would be in place until around 6am on Friday morning while Yorkshire Water carried out the works.

A signed diversion has now been put in place from the A6021 Great Eastern Way Roundabout at Parkgate via: A6021 Mangham Way, A6021 Greasbrough Road, A6021 Greasbrough Street and the A630 Centenary Way to St Ann’s Roundabout.

A spokeswoman said motorists should expect delays in the area.
