Road re-opened after body found
THE body of a man was found near a busy commuter route early today.
Police were called to to Wombwell Lane, near to a bridge near Aldham House Lane, Wombwell, at 5.37am this morning after the body was found.
A police spokesman said: “At this stage, police are not treating the death as suspicious.”
A short section of Wombwell Lane was temporarily closed due to the incident, but has now been re-opened.
