Road closed due to stranded car
A BLUE BMW became stranded on the central reservation of a busy dual carriageway this morning.
The car left the carriageway and came to a halt in the centre of West Bawtry Road, Whiston, at around 6.15am.
Police said that the road was closed while the car was recovered and was reopened just after 7.30am.
No other vehicle was involved in the incident and no one was injured.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 126 of August 22.
