Recycling centres switch to winter opening hours

Until March, the four centres run by Rotherham Borough Council will now be open from 9.30am until 4pm, seven days a week.

Householders are being asked to help in recycling during the shorter opening hours by sorting out their waste before going to the site.

Separate containers are provided at all the centres for the many different types of waste and the attendants at each centre are available to offer guidance and assistance to ensure waste goes into the appropriate containers for recycling.
