£250 sports grants up for grabs in Barnsley

Barnsley-based organisations are being invited to apply for up to £250 from Barnsley Council’s sport and active recreation fund.

Cllr Roy Miller, Cabinet spokesman for development, environment and culture, said: “The application process is quick and easy and is ideal for smaller clubs looking for funding for equipment, coaching courses, volunteer development or assistance with club development.”

Applications will be considered on a first come first served basis and the grant will close once all the funds have been allocated.
