The 27-year-old has rallied eight family and friends to take part in the 17-mile sponsored costumed walk with him.

“I discovered Cosplay events at the beginning of this year and came up with the idea of doing a sponsered Cosplay-inspired walk to raise funds for the NSPCC.

“I thought this was a great idea as the NSPCC works with children and we will be dressed as some of their favourite characters.

“What child doesn’t love superheroes and Disney princesses?”

Later this year, Adam is also planning on a number of fancy dress street collections across the region to raise further funds for the NSPCC.
