Students in Westminster talks with Rotherham MPs
The group of young visitors aged between 14 and 21 were taken on the trip in a bid to get them thinking about issues relevant to their lives and to help them develop a greater understanding of politics.
Government statistics show that almost half of Britain's population under the age of 25 are not registered to vote.

Hide AdBut the Rotherham students’ visit to London prompted plenty of positive feedback.
Abdullah Mohamed, from the Rotherham Yemeni Community Association, said: "The visit to Westminster was a huge success and we had some very positive feedback about how much the group enjoyed visiting the Houses of Parliament and talking to Lord Ahmed and Denis McShane MP about issues that concern them."
The RYCA was founded in 1994 on the ethos of uniting diversity within the community and meeting the needs of the local Yemenis and Arabic speaking population.
