Rotherham Borough council deal with 15 incidents as Storm Aileen sweeps across borough
HIGH winds battered Rotherham as Storm Aileen swept across the country.
Rotherham Borough Council said its staff had dealt with 15 incidents off blown down trees on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Hide AdA spokeswoman said there were incidents in the town centre, Maltby, Wentworth, Rawmarsh, Ulley, Kimberworth, Wath, East Herringthorpe and Bradgate Park.
She said contractors were prepared and were “on standby” overnight on Tuesday.
The Met Office said gusts of up to 65mph were recorded in Rotherham, with heavy rain also battering the borough overnight on Tuesday.
