Compassionate patrols and outreach: Rotherham sees remarkable drop in rough sleepers

A TEAM of “thick-skinned” council workers and compassionate professionals patrolling Rotherham to spot and help rough sleepers off the streets said they were determined to help anyone in need — and their work seems to be paying off.
