Community order for fly-tipper


A FLY-TIPPER has been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work after his daughter told officers he was responsible for dumping waste which officers traced to her.
Ian Hague, of Moorgate Road, was given a community order after he appeared before magistrates on June 20 for dumping approximately 20 bags of household waste at Doncaster Road.

Hide AdRotherham Borough Council officers who investigated traced rubbish to a woman, who was then contacted by the local authority.
The woman told officers that her father, Ian Hague, was responsible for depositing the waste.
Hague (49), formerly of Doncaster Road, Dalton, was arrested and appeared before magistrates under a warrant after failing to attend an earlier hearing last October.
He admitted one charge of depositng controlled waste without authority and, in addition to the community order, was ordered to pay £100 costs and a victim surcharge of £85.
