Police seize boy racer's souped-up disabled scooter
A total of 40 motorbikes and off-road vehicles—worth £45,000—have been seized in three months during a campaign to tackle nuisance vehicles in the Doncaster and Dearne Valley areas.
Enforcement officers from Doncaster Council acted after reports of the souped-up pensioner’s aid scaring wild deer and residents.

Cllr Cynthia Ransome, Cabinet member for communities, said: “We don’t want to stop people having fun and this is obviously quite a feat of engineering.
“But when they build machines like this they should be used at licensed tracks and not in areas where they annoy others.
“Whilst it may look like a lot of fun to ride, this type of noisy vehicle annoys residents immensely and terrifies local wildlife and walkers.”
