Police say a big thank-you to schoolchildren
South Yorkshire Police's mounted officers went back to school this week to say thanks to pupils from Wales High School.

Hide AdPCs Julie Bradshaw and Tracy Brown, as well as police horses Fenwick and new recruit Royston, visited the school to say thank you as the High School had the highest response rate to a recent ‘Young Peoples Survey’ sent out by South Yorkshire Police.
The survey was sent to 1,700 pupils to seek their opinions and experience of topics such as the police and the service they provide, crime and anti-social behaviour and bullying and drug use.
Wales High School Chief Executive Lawrence Morton said: "I am delighted we were able to reward the children for the effort and maturity they showed in completing the Young People’s survey.
