Police investigating Broom attack

A MAN suffered facial injuries in an incident which led to an area of Broom being cordoned off by police.

Police are investigating the incident which happened in Broomfield Grove at around 6.30pm on April 8.

South Yorkshire Police said that a 35-year-old man was injured in a reported altercation and that a 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of affray and bailed pending further enquiries.

The 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.

He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing.
