Police celebrate New Year’s Eve rave drugs haul
The picture appeared in a tweet by Rotherham Central Local Policing Team (@RothCentralLPT) last week, crediting the haul to “PCSOs Phil and Tina”.
The drugs — including pills, powdered substances, joints and leafy substances — were recovered by officers from an amnesty box outside the venue.

The event, billed as Bassfest Sheffield 2016, was organised by The Bassline Festival.
The Advertiser contacted organisers for a comment, but none had been received as the paper went to press.
John Silker, chief executive of Magna, said: “Magna is pleased that security were successful in preventing attempts to bring drugs into the event.”

“We work closely with local authorities, emergency services and event organisers to ensure safety at all events.”
