Police believe Wombwell stream death ‘not suspicious’
A POST-MORTEM into the death of a man who was found in a Wombwell stream provisionally concluded that he had drowned.
The body was found in water close to Valley Road, at around 6.05pm on Monday.
Enquiries are ongoing in order to establish the last known movements of the man, who has not yet been formally identified.
Police said they did not believe at this stage that the death was not suspicious.
