Police appeal for stolen tools help

Police are appealing for owners to come forward after they were found dumped around town.

The chop saw, wood lathe, nail gun and battery charger were found in woods opposite the Masons Arms Pub, Wickersley on Thursday, March 19.

The lawnmower was recovered later from an address in Sunnyside. Officers cautioned a 20-year-old man for handling stolen goods.

Anyone who recognises the tools can call PC Wood at the Rotherham Performance Crime Team on 101, quoting incident number 366 of May 8.
