PICTURE GALLERY: Fun in the sun in Wickersley

HUNDREDS enjoyed fun in the sun — and the rain — at Wickersley’s annual Gala and Fun Day.

Crowds braved brief, unseasonal showers on Saturday to enjoy a line-up of stalls, games, falconry displays and a classic car rally.

Hungry punters feasted on handmade fudge, gluten-free pies and Russian pastries — all made locally.

Rotherham Town Brass Band entertained at the country and western-themed event, which also featured characters from Disney’s Frozen.
