PHOTO GALLERY: Olympic spirit comes to Conisbrough

AS the Olympic Games got underway thousands of miles away in Rio, hundreds of people got into the spirit at this year’s Conisbrough Gala.

The sun shone on the welfare field on Old Road as Conisbrough’s very own Mini-Olympics took place.

The event also included the annual dog show and Dearne Valley Archery Club also put on taster sessions to allow people to try their hand at the Olympic sport.
