Photo exhibition at Swinton Library

THIS dramatic shot of Spurn Point in the East Riding of Yorkshire was taken by Swinton snapper John Pyatt — and you can see more of his work in his home town now.

John’s exhibition, Spurn Point, A Fluid Landscape, is on show at Swinton Library until October 25.

John said: “Why Spurn Point? I think perhaps Spurn chose me.

“My motive to start was I wanted a place that had the feel of a wilderness, within driving range.

The motivation to keep me going was the transience of the place — it just kept giving.”

The library is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
