It's been a long time since we had a refresh and our new look comes in tandem with the changing shape of the town centre skyline.

New shops, new restaurants and a cinema are on the horizon and we want our website to reflect the changes that are happening in Rotherham while continuing to focus on the independent shops, bars and businesses that have made the town stand out in recent years.

Alongside the Forge Island development, there's a wealth of history to be proud of, plus the wonderful Wentworth Woodhouse, the Chapel on the Bridge and the award-winning Clifton Park, all of which we will continue to shout about.

We will, of course, challenge authority when it needs it and report on the difficult challenges - and there are plenty of them - the borough faces, as well as accentuating all the positives.
