The businesses are among 39 companies from across the region to be shortlisted by Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber as part of its prestigious Celebration of Business Awards event, which will take place at Magna Science Adventure Centre on November 3.

Sponsored by the RNN Group, Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber’s Celebration of Business 2023 Awards attracted a record number of entrants and will recognise businesses operating in all parts of the regional economy.

The work of charities will also be recognised and, for the first time, the Chamber will also celebrate the innovative work being delivered by businesses across the region to reduce carbon emissions and support the environment with its newly launched sustainability award.

During the evening, businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries in 2023 will also gain recognition for their long-standing commitment to the region.

Carrie Sudbury, chief executive of Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber, said: “Every business and individual who has reached the shortlist should feel incredibly proud of their achievements.

“The level of excellence displayed in all applications received, across all categories, was truly exceptional, presenting our judges with a challenging task.”
