Supermarket seeks charity cash candidates

A SUPERMARKET is seeking charities to benefit from their in-store, community-friendly contest.

Asda in Wath is asking customers to drop a token in one of three boxes, splitting a pot of funds between worthy causes.

Three charities benefit every two months, with the shoppers’ favourite receiving £100.

Second and third place groups receive £25 each.

The chain wants charities to put themselves forward for a cash boost.

If you know an organisation which could benefit, phone 01302 500230 and ask for community colleague Rebecca Lumley.

Alternatively, visit the store and pick up a nomination card or visit storelocator.asda.com/store/wath-upon-dearne and click the nominate button.
