A FEARLESS teacher has agreed to a terrifying charity challenge which will see her leaping from a plane.

Animal lover Sadie Wilkinson, of Revell Close, East Herringthorpe, agreed to take the 15,000-foot plunge for Thornberry Animal Sanctuary after teaming up with colleagues at Queen Elizabeth High School in Gainsbrough.

Her fellow teachers will also be undertaking the awesome leap for various other charities.

Sadie said their inspiration for the leap came from ITV’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, in which hordes of celebrities jump from an aircraft to begin their jungle adventure.

Mum of three Sadie (27), has never skydived before, and admitted to having mixed emotions.

“I’m excited but when I think about it, it makes my heart race,” she said.

“When I’m up there, I won’t really have a choice!”

Sadie’s three children have also weighed in on their mum’s terrifying challenge, pointing to overhead planes and exclaiming: “Mummy’s jumping from one of those!”.

Sadie chose to support for Thornberry as her family adopted a German Shepherd Cross-Collie dog, Cassie, from the shelter when Sadie was a child.

“This is an amazing charity that does so much for animals that have lost homes, or are unwanted, and helps to find them homes,” she said.

“They are totally dependent on donations from people to help them fund food supplies and shelter for these animals.”

Sadie can be seen soaring like a bird over the Lincolnshire skies on the June 26, undertaking her challenge above the town of Hilbaldstow, near Brigg.
