Rotherham MP Sarah Champion joins shadow cabinet

ROTHERHAM MP Sarah Champion will be shadow minister for preventing abuse under Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour leadership.

The CSE campaigner and former Bluebell Wood director confirmed her appointment on Twitter this morning.

She tweeted: “I’m now the Shadow Minister for preventing abuse, part of the Home Affairs team.

Ms Champion is the third Yorkshire MP to join Mr Corbyn’s shadow government, since he was elected Labour leader last Saturday.
