Hide AdMick Collins, part of the organising team, said: “We had brought in £28,000 before and last weekend has taken us to roughly £31,000.
“It was a very good turnout. Greencore at Worksop provided about 200 sandwiches, we had Paul Freeman who’s a local artist, there was an auction and an outside bar.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and came along. Without them, it just wouldn’t happen.”
Mick said the link with YAA had come about years earlier when he was involved in a fundraiser for a friend who had a brain tumour.

“If I had a pound for every time I was asked why we raise money for them, I’d be a millionaire,” added Mick.
“You just never know when you might need Yorkshire Air Ambulance. When you do, it’s good to know that they’re there.”
