Hero Ben supports Rotherham charity Zumba marathon

A FITNESS studio in the town is hosting the biggest Zumba party that the area has ever seen this month, in aid of national charity Help For Heroes.

Inter Shape Studios, of Bramley and Dinnington will host the Zumba event at the Consort Hotel, Thurcroft on Thursday, July 14 starting at 7:30pm.

Doncaster soldier Ben Parkinson, one of the most wounded soldiers who survived his injuries and is now hailed an “inspiration”, will be present at the event to show his support.

Amanda Turner of Inter Shape Studios said: “It is since my own son, Joe Turner, who joined the Royal Engineers aged just 17 years old, that has prompted me to raise money for this worthy charity supporting our heroes.

“I hope everyone can support this event in any way possible.”

There will also be a dance performance from the Inter Shape street dance team, who performed on popular entertainment show Britain’s Got Talent, as well as other entertainment, a disco, and a mexican buffet.

Amanda added: “Anyone can be a part of it - whether they watch or join in!”

Entry costs £6 on the night or £5 in advance for guaranteed entry. For more information contact Amanda via phone: 0800 6199 344 or go to: www.intershapestudios.co.uk
