Hearty sum to help reduce disease

A NEW £10,000 grant is available for innovative group projects in Yorkshire and the Humber which aim to reduce the risk of heart disease in their communities.

Grants are only available to not-for-profit organisations including charities, sports groups, voluntary organisations and sports groups.

The aim of the funding is to prevent cardiovascular disease, one of the world’s biggest killers, in communities which are marginalised or lack access to health initiatives.
