Free risk guide for charities

Risk Management for Charities: Getting Started has been launched by risk management experts IRM.

The guide was launched  at the recent Charity Finance Group Risk conference.

IRM’s vice chairman Richard Anderson said: “Charities today are increasingly firefighting growing demand and reduced funding. Faced with these pressures, risk management can inevitably become an afterthought.

“More than ever, charities of all sizes need to know how to minimise the threats and maximise the opportunities risk brings. This free guide, written by our Charities Special Interest Group, helps trustees identify their operational and strategic risks and provides a framework to start treating them.”
