Company extends Rotherham Titans shirt sponsorship
A RUGBY team has a double celebration – achieving promotion and extending its relationship with a local business.
Rotherham Titans are over the moon at their promotion back into Level 2 English Championship Rugby Union but have also continued their relationship with Harsco Environmental.

Harsco Environmental - which has its Yorkshire base in Rotherham - has been a backer of the Titans for more than half a decade and is the sponsor of a bar at the club’s home ground on Clifton Lane.
To mark the club’s century of sporting excellence in the town in 2024, Harsco confirmed that it would become the official Titan’s shirt sponsor.
The special relationship has grown since then and in the year ahead, the main shirt sponsorship will sit with SteelPhalt, the Rotherham-based division of Harsco.
Carl Brown, Harsco Steel Mills UK operations director, said: “Rotherham Titans is such a fantastic club and community with unbelievable fans and people associated with the club.
“We are extremely proud to continue our support in 2026/27 and I’m sure it will be an exciting season, especially with local Doncaster Knights derby to look forward to.”
SteelPhalt produces high performance asphalt products from the slag produced by the region’s steel industry, specialising in products aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency on the roads.
It achieves high skid resistance - enhancing road safety for both drivers and pedestrians - and maintains it throughout the whole life of the road, also avoiding the use of quarried materials and the landfill of residual slag product.
The company’s products include SteelStop, SteelSurf, SteelPave and SteelFlow.
