Children’s hospice car lovers’ fundraiser smashes target

A FUNDRAISER whose “tagged” Jags put a kids’ hospice on the road to a top total has smashed yet another massive milestone.

Stuart Dixon visits car shows to invite car lovers to boost Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice by signing a sticker on one of his fleet of vintage vehicles.

The last big show of the year was a classic car show at Birmingham’s NEC, after which Stuart handed the North Anston hospice a cheque for £59,456.78.

It means Stuart and his supporters have collected an impressive £254,873 for the charity.

He said he was lucky to be supported by repeat donors, joking: “Even if people have given before, I usually manage to get another tenner out of them!”

Stuart said he was determined to help Bluebell Wood cover its running costs, adding: “It all helps them to keep going.”

You can request your name be added to a sticker, which will be shown on Stuart’s Sherwood Jaguars Facebook page.
