BBC Look North's Amy Garcia to host Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce annual awards

The Business Awards are now in their 14th year and celebrate the achievements of businesses across South Yorkshire.

Amy Garcia is a well-known face on TV screens across Yorkshire, having presented BBC Look North for a decade.

Throughout the evening, Amy will present winners with awards from nine different categories and crown the Business of the Year Award winner.

Shane Young, operations director at Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, said: "With her impressive background and her unwavering dedication to her community, Amy was the perfect choice to celebrate and honour the achievements of businesses in our region, and we are looking forward to giving her a warm welcome.”

The event, sponsored by the RNN Group, will be held at Magna Science Adventure Centre on Friday November 3.
