Another deliberate blaze on 'worst road' for arson

FIRE crews were last night called to the “worst road in Rotherham” for arson attacks – for the second time this week.

Rotherham firefighters attended the deliberate bin fire on Canklow Road, Canklow at 11.10pm and left the scene at 11.30pm.

The blaze follows three wheelie bins which were deliberately set alight on Canklow Road in the early hours of Monday morning.

Last week we reported how firebugs have made this street the worst in Rotherham for deliberate blazes after it suffered from a total of 100 arsons in recent times.

Elsewhere firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7.20pm on Eldon Road, Eastwood.

The crew came away at 7.45pm.
