Panto ticket sales booming six months early
Ticket sales for Rotherham’s December panto are going through the roof with 4,000 sold already.

Hide AdRotherham Theatre's manager, Mark Scott said: "Jack and the Beanstalk hasn't been presented as a panto in Rotherham for over 15 years, but, it seems the wait has been worth it as tickets have been flying out of the door.
“To celebrate, we've set up a ‘Beanstalk Blog’ on our website.
“Basically, the beanstalk was planted when the panto was announced, and we're going to see how big it gets before the show ends in January.

Hide Ad“We’ve got some seeds from a passing salesman. Hopefully, it won't grow to the extent that it goes through the roof of the Central Library and Arts Centre, but you never know. If you see a lost giant wandering the streets of Rotherham, it wasn't us. Honest.
“If you want to get tickets for the key dates, namely 19 - 31 December, get them now. It may not be getting dark until 10pm and be warm outside, but, they're selling fast, so, if you want to enjoy this traditional festive treat as close to Christmas and the New Year as possible, get them while you can.”
Spillers return once again to produce the show which, over the past decade, has gone from strength-to-strength.
