Opening hours extended at recycling centres

LIGHTER nights mean longer opening hours at  Rotherham’s household waste centres.

From Thursday, April 1, the borough council’s four centres at Car Hill, Greasbrough, Lidget Lane, Bramley, Warren Vale, Rawmarsh and Magilla, North Anston, will stay open until 7pm, seven days a week.

The centres will continue to open at 9.30am each day and will be open as usual throughout the Easter period.

Householders are asked to sorting their waste and attendants will be available to offer guidance and assistance in sorting waste into the appropriate containers for recycling.
