Newsagents robbed at gunpoint

A man entered Windle's, on Doncaster Road in Mexborough, with a firearm at about 6.40am and demanded cash.

The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, slim and about 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a black hooded top with white drawstrings.

Officers said he escaped with cash from the store. No-one was injured in the incident.

Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV or saw what happened is urged to call  South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident 111 of September 27.
