New York Stadium set for commercial gym

One third of the 3,000sq metre lettable space is already under offer at Rotherham United’s new £20 million home.

Part of this will be a health and fitness centre with mezzanine level, earmarked for 600sq metres at  the north-west corner.

Director Paul Burgess said “We have received a lot of interest in the units here and we are in discussions with other parties for further lettings to be secured.”

Templeborough-based Burgess Commercial — Rotherham’s only firm of chartered surveyors — recently celebrated its fourth anniversary.

Director Neil Keally said: “We started the business at a pretty tough time for the property sector, but we have seen continued growth year on year.”
