New York Stadium hosting job-seekers' event
YOUNG jobseekers will descend on Rotherham’s New York Stadium tomorrow.
Around 500 people are expected to attend a youth employment event organised by JobCentre Plus to highlight the help available to job-hunters and employers via the Government’s £1bn Youth contract.
Training providers and local businesses will be on hand to speak directly to 16-24 year-olds looking for work, while employers can find out how taking on a young jobseeker can lead to them getting a cash payment of £2,275 through the Youth Contract's wage incentive.
