New £4m Dearne Valley fire station ready for action
A “new fire station is due to begin serving its community this week as the £4 million dearne Station at Manvers opens.
THE new £4 million Dearne Fire Station at Manvers has gone into service
Stations at Mexborough and Brampton will now close and the sites will be sold off.

Hide AdSouth Yorkshire Fire and Rescue says response timesin those areas will be maintained by crews from the new station.
A total of 56 full-time firefighters, along with 17 retained firefighters who live close by, will operate the new station, which has stat-of-the-art facilities.
