Motorway delays after six-vehicle pile-up

A SIX-VEHICLE collision blocked two lanes of a motorway today.

A man was cut from one of the vehicles and taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital after the crash on the M18

The incident happened north of junction 1 at Bramley at about 10.30am.

The Highways Agency said that delays were expected for several hours.
