Motorist Shaun to tour seven countries in eight days
His journey will take him from Dinnington to Kent, then into France — including Monte Carlo — Italy — including a stay near the Leaning Tower of Pisa — Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Germany and Belgium.
But he’ll have to take in all of the sights through the windows of a clapped-out Lexus i200 with 150,000 miles on the clock.

Shaun, of Manor Road, Dinnington, said: “A friend of mine did a similar sort of rally a few years ago and I thought I want to do that.
“My car cost me £520 but it’s actually not that bad a car to be honest. It’s done 150,000 miles but I’ve had loads of support from local businesses who’ve helped me with the car.”
Shaun is hoping to raise around £2,000 for Hallam FM’s Cash4Kids charity as part of the trip.

Shaun said: “I have never done anything like this before. It’s going to be completely new experience for me.
“Some of the group who are coming on the challenge have done it before so I’ll be relying on them a lot.”
Shaun has also promoted his journey with a visit to Dinnington Primary School — where son Joseph (5) is a pupil.
